Party Prep started with a few chafing dishes, a Facebook Marketplace post, and one simple feeling: planning a party should be exciting, not stressful. One enquiry at a time, that small idea became something bigger.
Every chapter came from listening to what people were asking for, trying something new, and slowly building a brand that could help with more than one type of party.
After coming back from university, I saw my mum hiring out chafing dishes on Facebook Marketplace. The idea came from my auntie, but I could see something special in it. People were already searching for party equipment, and I felt we could make that experience better.
I started posting better pictures of the chafing dishes and running Facebook ads. More people messaged. More people asked questions. That was the first real sign that a small local idea could become something people genuinely needed.
I decided to turn the idea into something with a proper identity. Party Prep got its name, Instagram page, content, and a clearer voice. It was no longer just a few items for hire. It was becoming a brand people could recognise and trust.
As enquiries grew, I bought more chafing dishes and then expanded into candy floss machines, popcorn machines, and eventually a 360 photo booth. Each new item helped us create a different kind of moment, from food service to party theatre.
Today, Party Prep is growing into a place where customers can discover equipment, services, venues, and trusted suppliers. The dream is simple: help people plan better events, and help good event businesses get seen by the right people.
